When we think of toys, we often think of things we might own or have owned in the past, rather than historical artifacts. However, toys can actually teach us quite a lot about history. This presentation will focus on toys from the 19th and 20thcenturies and explain how these objects often reflect the current interest of the time they were made and can be used to give us insight into the innovations that helped create them.
