THE BATEMAN IRON AGE IMPLEMENTS – 1836 TO 1929

The Bateman Iron Age Implements Works manufactured farm tools and even a car or two  beginning in 1836 until the late 1920s. This international business would bring the railroad to Grenloch Terrace, provide solid employment, and sponsor the Grenloch Lake Park amusements as well. Jason Shriver has an extensive collection of Bateman memorabilia, from watch fobs to garden hoes, which he will share with us at the Olde Stone House Village at 1 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

Following this, tour the Village’s five historic buildings and learn about the history of Washington Township. Admission is free, but please register in advance.
